What is Chronic Pain?

Chronic pain is typically defined by doctors as lasting at least 12 months up to years. The pain might not feel the same every day, but its persistence can inhibit you from simply getting through daily tasks and having a full range of mobility. The cause of chronic pain can often be hard to pinpoint, but some common causes are chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, endometriosis, arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, and migraines. Myth #1: Chiropractic care is only cracking bones.
We are sure you have seen some intensely dramatic bone-cracking on social media, but there is so much more to chiropractic care than that, especially for chronic pain. It is important to note that other medical remedies for chronic pain such as acupuncture and therapeutic massage are often not covered.
